Thomas R. Cameron is an assistant professor of Mathematics at Penn State Behrend. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the University of Minnesota Duluth and his Ph.D. in Mathematics from Washington State University. With over twelve years of teaching experience across four academic institutions, Thomas is a passionate mathematics educator who has worked with a diverse range of students, each with varying backgrounds, interests, and abilities. In addition to his teaching, Thomas is an accomplished researcher in numerical linear algebra, algebraic graph theory, and combinatorics. He has made significant contributions in areas such as matrix polynomials, the numerical solutions of polynomial equations, the spectral properties of directed graphs, and the zero forcing number and forts of a graph.
